Our Office Today is nestled on the banks of Bass Lake, a small but scenic lake just outside the gates of Yosemite National Park. Unlike most of the lakes in California, Bass Lake is full of water. We have been to Yosemite a handful of times since we grew up in this majestic state, so today we thought we would hit a place we haven't frequented much.
The best part of the location of Our Office Today is that we have the place almost to ourselves. I can't imagine how crazy and busy this place must be in the summertime and on weekends. As we catch up on work on the deck of Ducey's Grill all we hear are the sounds of Tori Amos and Toad the Wet Sprocket singing to us through the speakers, who just happen to be two of my favorites to listen to, and the occasional squeals of jet skiers zooming by, which looks quite tempting to look into. But since duty calls we are forced to sit here just a little bit longer, take in the views, and slowly finish up our work for the day.
